NorthEast Florida Hunt Retriever Club
For the Dogs!
Congratulations to Robert Joiner and Billy – they successfully completed the recent 2014 Fall Grand!
For new members, this hunt test is for Hunting Retriever Champions (HRCH). It duplicates actual hunting conditions found throughout the country. The successful completion of two of these Grand tests (valued at 40 points each or 80 points) along with an accumulation of 120 additional points after earning the HRCH Title for a total of 300 points, will qualify a HRCH for the UKC title of Grand Hunting Retriever Champion (GRHRCH).
The semiannual International Grand Hunts are scheduled for five (5) days, but due to unforeseen circumstances, such as inclement weather, the tests may take longer to complete. The Hunt will consist of five (5) series of tests. The five series of tests consist of the following:
Failure of the hunting retriever to pass any of the five series tests will prevent it from participating in any subsequent series test.

Hi Every One,
Thank you to all that came out this week end to our Hunt Test and worked and ran dogs! Your help was “GREATLY” appreciated! This has been our “BIGGEST” test yet!! We could not put on these events without all your help and support! Thank you again!
I hope every one that ran dogs did well and had fun!
We will be having a post Hunt Test meeting after all of the reports and figures are done. I strongly urge every one to attend. We will be discussing this test and our future spring 2015 and fall 2015 tests.
I had a lot of good feed back on this test and lots of great compliments on how well it was run. Overall, I think everything ran pretty smoothly.
If anyone has good picture from this week end please send them so we can get them on the web site and the newsletter, as I was not able to take many. Thank you! Newsletter abrittingham@gmail.com; web site karenvandonsel@gmail.com.
